Guided Day Trip From Ljubljana

I am interested in a one day guided day trip from Ljubljana on Sunday May 20. I have already seen Lake Bled, and I will have visited the caves so I am looking for something different than these two options.

Have you been to Piran? It's a beautiful coastal town, perhaps two hours by bus each way from Ljubljana. You wouldn't need a guide just to visit the town - not a lot to see there but it's a nice town. A tour that might stop in Piran and other nearby towns might be worthwhile.

What about Lake Bohinj? It's very different than Bled: much larger, not as developed. You can spend a few hours hiking around the lake or taking boats back and forth across the lake. There must be guided tours up to Bohinj.

See:

There are several "different" non-guided possibilities:

For example, there are special trains from Ljubljana to Terme Olimia in Podčetrtek. Their spa Orhidelia is fantastic.

Also, as suggested already before, Piran (+ Portorož, Sečovlje) is a very good idea.
