Markets

Heading back to Warsaw in summer and looking for recommendations for good markets in Warsaw. We will be there a whole week so it doesn't matter what day. Not looking to buy anything specific but always interested in good food, clothing, shoes etc. As long as there are interesting things to look at! Any help apprciated!

You can go to Hala Mirowska for food, it's near the city center. The huge market at the former stadion does not exist any more as a new modern stadion was built last year, many vendors moved to a hall in a far suburb. There are some (peasant) markets but most are far from downtown and difficult to reach if you are not familiar with the surroundings. Bazar Rozyckiego in old Praga district is also an option but most people wouldn't probably like the experience (it looks quite shabby).

If you are interested in shopping, mainly food, clothes and shoes I will advise you not to look at the markets but at shopping malls.

Local markets are good especially for food, flowers, but clothes would not probably be of best quality.

In case of shopping malls you could visit:

http://www.galeria-dominikanska.pl/en/

http://zlotetarasy.pl/en/site/start

en.arkadia.com.pl/W/do/centre/strona-glowna

Zlote tarasy are in the exact city center of Warsaw near the central station and palace of culture and science. Nearby you will also find a bus to the Chopin airport.

Galeria Dominikanska is actually in Wrolcaw, not Warsaw. The other malls mentioned, Zlote Tarasy and Arkadia, should actually meet every shopper's expectations but if you still want to viisit more places, you could go to Blue City, Galeria Mokotow, Panorama (or Vitkac for very upmarket stores as Gucci).
