Wroclaw in late December

Hi

I'm planning to come to Wroclaw & Poland for the first time this December - almost certainly from the 27th to come back on the 31st (would stay for New Year but flights are ridiculously expensive on the 1st Jan). Is this a good time to visit or is everything shut for Christmas / New Year as Poland is a Catholic country?

Also - we like the look of the Vincent apartments - any problem with these?

Thanks a lot!

the web site for the vincent apts looks wonderful...i'm not sure of the neighborhood as i havnt checked it out ...but it doesnt seem too far from the old town....usually i prefer to stay at the hotels on kielbaniszca street...but at those prices i wont argue...i've only been to wroclaw during good weather and i love it....a hidden jewel in europe.....what an old town square!

Great location 200 metres from town square.

If the price is good - take it.

PS. 10 metres from the place you'll find a huge variety of clubs
