Eating Times

Most of our holdiays are inSpain when people tend to eat very late in the evening. What is the usual time for the Polish people to eat at lunch and evening meals?

Lunch - called obiad - is between 12 and 14, sometimes 15. Evening meal - kolacja - 18-19.

These are traditional times, but as live goes on, the times change... It is not unusual for us to have brunches and late evening dinners...

Yes, but Polish people eat out rarely, so in restaurants the usual Western times apply (8am/1pm/7.30pm)

In Warsaw people usually end working at 6-7 pm and this is when on weekdays the restaurants are busy. Also during lunch at around 1-2 pm. In Wroclaw we usually end working at 4-5 pm and only big companies make lunch breaks.
