You can take a bus (Polish Zlotys 3,-) to the centre of Gdansk (Upland Gate/Brama Wyżynna - Wały Jagiellonskie Street) or to Gdansk Wrzeszcz and to make a change for taxi (abt 20/40 Zlotys) or to take a taxi directly fm the airport (abt 70-80 Zlotys).
No bus/tram stop very close to Szafarnia Street.
Or you can check these people out:
Thanks to you both for your help. Are you sure its only 70-80 from Airport. As I have just emailed a taxi rank at airport and he is trying to charge me 130zlotys.
It was the price paid by my friend fm Airport Gdansk to Old Town at the end of December.
When the traffic is high and it is necessary to stop and wait many times the price can be higher.
