Prague Train station

We are taking a train from Prague to Salzburg on Monday Dec 05 at 0700. We are staying at the Hotel Royal Esprit at Jakubska 5. How much would cab fare be to the station? Would we better better off taking the public transport and if so which line would I catch, in which direction and how many stops?

tram 26 from Namesti Rep to Hlavni Nadrazi might be simpler than having to switch metro lines....bus stop is along side Palladium shopping center.

as mentioned, walking would be a choice if you don't have excessive luggage

The train is at 0716 - don't forget to sit in the first carriages or you will be left behind in České Budějovice. It will say the destination of the carriage on the side anyway (Linz - where you change to the Salzburg train)

Enjoy the journey!
