Help we are looking for accommodation in Noosa or Mooloolaba

Can any one help. We are coming to Australia for our first visit at the end of the month we are visiting Melbourne, Sydney and then fly on to Brisbane. It was our intention to stay in either Noosa or Mooloolaba for 3 nights then back into Brisbane for the last 2 Nights. There is lots to choose from in Brisbane itself but we appear to be struggling to find any decent accommodation in noosa or mooloolaba and need advice on which area to stay.We are a young family (i have 2 boys aged 9 and 5) Aand cant seem to locate anywhere as they have max occupancy of 3. Also does anyone know what the wether will be like in Noosa/Mooloolaba early february???? Thank you. Any infor will be greatly appreciated.

Northwind Apartments on the Esplanade in Mooloolaba is 4 star accomodation (less expensive than others surrounding it, although very clean, large and classy accomodation)right on the beach with all apartments offering ocean views and verandahs. Transport right at the door, supermarket (Coles)1 minutes walk around the corner, beautiful beachside park just down the road and all the gorgeous beachside cafe's and restaurants you can imagine right at your door. If money is no problem, then Noosa is ok but very out of the way from the rest of the coast. Makes for a good day trip though. 'Zanzibar' in Mooloolaba is oooh-la-la if you can afford it....

Hope this helps... am happy to provide more information as I lived in Noosa for 4 years and Mooloolaba/Maroochydore for 10 years. Can help with activities for the family as I have 3 kids, 9,5 and 2 and know the places to go.

See accommooloolaba.com.au for loads of places. Sirocco, Zanzibar, Oceans, Outrigger and 84 The Spit are the top places in Mooloolaba. You don't have to book - plenty of choice right along the beach front. Noosa is more expensive and less choice for beach front.

And February is hot with some rain (warm). Average temps 21-29°C and ideal for swimming.

Hi,

Noosa is expensive in everything. I love Mooloolaba....great places to stay, and shops.

Your boys would love underwater World. Swimming will be perfect but you will need sunscreen!!!

If no luck on other accommodation suggestions...maybe try www.ozstays.com

There are soooooo many places....its the budget that will guide you.

When in Brisbane take the boys to SouthBank.

the weather in February is hot and humid, also these are a couple of places that would be suitable for you Beachfront Towers Maroochydore or Coolum Beach Getaway Resort

We stayed at the Landmark...directly opposite the life saving club and beach. We ran a conference for a week here..our apartment the penthouse was lovely and comfortable with a massive lounge dining room/spacious bathroom with washing machine/dyer ...good size kitchen. Lovely balcony overlooking beach and to make it special another terrace up spiral staircase to roof ...private area with spa..deck cahirs and bbq area. (you could fit 50 people on it). Check out this review...on this site.

I hope this helps you.
