The price of getting to Daydream Island on a ferry service only is $36 per person each way. With this you make your own way down to the marina and back to your accommodation house. No lunch is includes in this price.

You are better off doing the one day tour at $99 per person which is your return ticket, courtesy bus pick up and drop off to your accommodation and includes lunch at the Boathouse.

There is a small reef on Daydream Island however it is not advertised as tourist condur up ideas of it being similar to the Great Barrier Reef or the corals surrounding some of the islands and it is not like that. If you want the snorkelling trip you need to go to snorkelling spots such as Hook Island, Langford Reef, Border Island, Hazelwood Island or the Great Barrier Reef.

Daydream Island is the smallest island of all. You can walk from the northern end to the southern end in an easy 20 - 25 minutes. Concreted footpaths lead the way. If mobility is a problem they do have mobility movers that seat 4 - 6 persons that go between the north and the south.

Daydream has special things to offer - it has the living lagoon which is fantastic and winning awards everywhere. They have marine biologists working there with the marine critters that circle in the lagoon. It has been really well done and a credit to them. Is it worth it - yes it is.

Thank you so much. The day trip with lunch sounds like a greta option to pursue.
