el questro or home valley?

We will be travelling in this region in June and july this year but cannot decide whether we need to see/stay at both these places or just one. We will have a 4WD and understand our NON offroad caravan will not fare well if we tried to take it to either of these places. We are a family of two adults and two kids aged 8 and 6.

Hi slaacc,

Have a look on the thread below for additional information regarding these 2 resorts.

Here is my review on Home Valley Station with pics.

If you have a 4WD then you will be okay in both places. Home Valley is heaps cheaper than El Questro so I guess it depends on your budget. El Questro is run by Voyages. www.voyages.com.au

Are you planning to drive the Gibb River Road or are you just planning to visit these places from Kununurra.

It can be easily be done as a day trip from Kununurra.

Dear Ellmay, already ahead of you and have looked at your pics. Thx and v helpful. We are planning on not travelling Gibb River Rd but leaving caravan to venture up to HV8 or EQ and stay a few nights before picking up the bitumen road again and head towards Perth over 8 weeks.
