Beaches

Hi,

We're staying in Cortona next week and would like to visit Lake Trasimeno and hopefully spend a bit of time at one of the beaches to make the most of the sun. I can't find much info online about the beaches such as where they actually are and if there's parking etc.

From the info I have found it seem's there's a beach at Castiglione Del Lago, has anyone been here that can advise or does anyone have any other recommendations?

Thanks,

Danielle

Every little village around the lake has some sort of beach. Beware though, the water is shallow and at this time of the year it will be very hot. Passignano has a little beach near the Vela club.

San Feliciano has a beach too with easy parking and a kiosk for drinks nearby.

We visited Castiglione Del Lago last year. It is a lovely walled, hilltop town. Lots of great places to eat and interesting shops. The beach looked quite nice.
