Huia House Homestay Kaikoura

If you are looking for a friendly B&B while in Kaikoura, you must consider "Huia House"

Kaikoura is 180km North of Christchurch New Zealand

The Shaw family from Derby England are in residence between November 2011 and April 2012 and would love to see old friends and birdwatchers who are traveling around the South Island.

Alan Shaw is an authority on all things avian while his wife Celia is a keen gardener, cook and home-stay hostess. They live in a beautiful house with 3 letting rooms, children are made welcome. The rooms overlook the peninsular and it is close to public transport and whale watching.

Dear Alan,

We are going down to Kaikoura on 7th April by train, Arriving Kaikoura 03:28pm, Saturday 7 April 2012 and Leaving Kaikoura 04:28pm, Sunday 8th April 2012.

We have 4 adults and one 2 years old little girl. Do you have 2 rooms available on 7th April? We also need your advice for whale watching or other activities which can do duirng this short period.

Cheers,

Richard

Hello Richard, welcome to the forum :)

You will need to contact the homestay directly through their website. TripAdvisor is where people come to discuss travel related matters, it is not a booking agency. The post above was written by a UK resident 8 months ago; the chances of this message getting to anyone at Huia Homestay is less than slim.

As you are probably be aware, children under 3 are not able to cruise on a whale watch tour.

Best of luck :)
