Escorted non-drinking friends of my wife for a day around the MR region yesterday. It panned out like this:
Left MR town at 1030 - went to the cheese factory - don't know why they've moved the counter across in front of the viewing window.
Then on to the chocolate factory. Only my second visit as I don't eat much chocolate. Have to say it was better than I remember and that is one huge load of chocolate!
Drove on up to Yallingup to show them some surf - they were suitably impressed. We then went to a jewellery gallery (for an hour!) before heading down to Vasse Felix for lunch (OK - I had a little taste as well).
After a very tasty and relaxing couple of hours we then went to the mouth of the Margaret River for more surf and coastal scenery before arriving back in MR at 5.00pm.
All in all a very relaxing day and our Sydney friends claimed to be blown away by the beauty of it all - and so they should! :-)
