Accommodation - House of Wood Te Anau

We have just returned from a wonderful visit to the South Island. Loved Fiordland.

We had 3 fantastic nights in Ten Anau staying at the House of Wood. The accommodation is situated from close to the main area of Te Anau. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, cafes and walking along the beach.

Our room was very warm and comfortable. Merle and Cliff were helpful hosts, the breakfast was fantastic. We also had dinner with them one night as we arrived tired after a long drive. That meal was delicious. Just what we needed very enjoyable.

They even arranged good weather. We couldn't have asked for more.

Highly recommend this accommodation for anyone wanting a friendly, comfortable home atmostphere. It really was home from home.

Thank you Merle and Cliff.

Hope to come again in the not too distant future.

Linda & Nigel.
