Good Accommodation Queenstown

We are a late 50's couple and have a week in Queenstown planned. We are looking for probably self catering/central with a balcony. Sky TV

We have narrowed down our optionsto Peppers Beacon, Mantra marina, Spinaker Bay or The Glebe. May be 3noghts in one and 4 nights in another.

Any recommendations please? Many thanks

Sorry but we will probably not have a car and perhaps that rules out Mantra marina. We have also considered Highview and Browns Hotel

I used this site and it was very cost effective. Sure to be a place in there somewhere. http://www.bookabach.co.nz

Have you considered The Whistler? It's right smack in between 2 supermarkets, so it's perfect for grocery shopping. Very well equipped one bedroom apartment complete with balcony, dishwasher and even a washing machine/dryer, which was just what we needed after a week on the road.

Hi Grabybaby

Have a look at Breakfree the Waterfront. We stayed there last September and were pretty happy with it. Right opposite the Queenstown Pier overlooking the Lake & the Remarkables. Close to everything & nice flat walk, which was great as we had my elderly mother with us.

Another place we stayed at 18 months ago and were very happy with was Garden Court Apartments. About a 10 min walk into town but steep walk going back.

We are staying at the Ocean Shores next week but I think it is a little way out of town - does not matter as we like to walk and also have a car

Yes the gondala Car park cabins are good and some have a top view.....however the price has crept up over the years.

As i posted before the next time i booked using book a batch which was 'half the freight' and good choices for extended stays.
