Super Shuttle

Would you recommend that we make reservations online for the Super Shuttle? Do they ever offer online discount coupons? We are arriving on January 13, 2013 and need to go from the airport to the Hilton. How long is the ride usually? Does the Super Shuttle make a lot of stops along the way?

Thanks

Efficient and inexpensive, we booked the Supershuttle in Queenstown on the net via the Air New Zealand web page when finalising our flight details. We had a variety of choices but with a small distance to the town and being off peak season, we booked a shuttle and shared the van with only one other couple. It was clean, very efficient and low cost at NZ$13 each. The only glitch we had was that we had booked through Air New Zealand and it did not automatically transfer to the Super Shuttle pickup lists (both directions). They found the bookings after a search. Thus you should confirm pickups to ensure they are in the Super Shuttle system.

If money is a concern, shop around because there are alternatives. Supershuttle have an exclusive concession to have a site at the airport, and passengers pay a premium for that, but other shuttles can still pick up and drop off. Whichever shuttle you use, there will be other passengers to drop off (particularly at a peak travel time like mid January) and the Hilton's location would put it at the end of many routes - it could easily take an hour or more as a result. The airbus would actually get you pretty close, if your luggage is manageable (or if not, take a taxi from the airbus stop).
