Help with Transportation

Now that I've settled on an itinerary, I need some help with transporation. I am flying into Auckland at aroun 11:00 a.m., we would like to go straight to Rotorua from there where we'll spend 2 nights, then head to Waitomo to spend our 3rd night and then go back to Auckland to spend our last night & day before flying home.

I would prefer not to drive because I'm a little nervous with driving on the opposite side of what I'm used to. What is the easiest way for me to do this? I'm assuming it will be buses, can someone recommend a bus company?

Thank you!

Bus will be your best bet if you don't want to drive, or you can fly to Rotorua from Auckland.

There are plenty of tour companies offering something similar, such as a one way tour Auckland to Rotorua via Waitomo:

With such a short visit you will find a tour more time effective.

With such a short time in the country - it would be a lot more time efficient for you to rent a car. The driving is really not that daunting.

Otherwise, getting on some form of tour bus would be better than relying on the normal inter city buses.
