Can you suggest some hotels/motels in Malaga
and how do we travel from the airport to the Malaga area
Was there a specific reason why you wish/need to stay at Malaga? I'm only asking because Malaga, whilst only just over 10km (?) from Perth City Centre, you'll be severely limiting your accommodation options. In fact nearby Alexander Heights, Karrinyup or thereabouts maybe your only options - that I know of.
I think I'm out of my depth with this question.Edited: 5:50 am, June 17, 2014
we are attending a seminar in that vicinity
Did you want to divulge more information?
Is that all you're doing whilst in Perth? How many days are you attending the seminar? Are you hiring a car? Are you travelling with others? Your travel dates? All this may help with suggestions from the local experts
No tourist accommodation in Malaga. It is a residential suburb. Stay in Scarborough or Hillarys or CBD. Wherever you stay, you will need to take cabs or hire a car unless you are prepared to travel on a bus, maybe two depending on where your seminar is located.
I just notice your other thread that mentions you staying in Adelaide Terrace.
Is this the same trip? This is precisely why I asked those questions above. I suspect Perthite's reply will be best suited to your needs.
After the seminar we will be staying in a hotel in Adelaide Terrace
Forget Malaga. It is semi industrial and def not an area with anything going on in the evening.
Stay in the city - or Scarborough - and commute to Malaga for the seminar.
Thanks for your advice. much appreciated
Agree with Perthite and tubefeed. Malaga is semi-industrial with factories and workshops, definitely no accommodation or restaurants etc. Whether you will be able to get to your seminar by public transport I can't say, not knowing where it will be, but you could work it out here by typing in your starting and finishing addresses:
