Perth Casino

Hi,

I intend to stay at one of the casino on the last few days of my trip. I renting a car to travel South of the perth, then i am thinking of whether to return the car when back to perth casino as I think car park in the casino is expensive. Then I just take city taxi to airport. Any advise ?

I am not sure whether to choose Crown perth casino hotels nearby or casino at Burswood entertainment complex. Any advise on pricing and convenient as to drop in casino to play and stay in hotel, and also easy to roam to perth city area. Or it better to rent hotel or apartments near casino, as both Crown perth hotels and burswood hotels are quite expensive. any advise?

It's sounds like you may be unaware that Crown and Burswood are the same thing. The name changed to Crown last year.

Yes. It was originally the Burswood Casino, but recently was bought by Crown Casinos and the name was changed.

Hi shsh,

There are 2 hotels in the Crown Entertainment Complex. The Crown Promenade is the less expensive one (previously known as the Burswood Holiday Inn). The room rate varies from A$150-200/night depending on the seasons. Yes, Burswood has changed its name to Crown last year. FYI, parking in the casino's car parks at the "Dome" section is free (more than 1,000 lots).

The complex has many good restaurants, Aussie, Chinese, fast food, etc. You can just join the Casino's membership for free & qualify for discounts at these restaurants and cocktail bars there.

Don't advise you to gamble too much at the Casino. I've known many "regulars" have "disappeared" for good from the Casino because of frequent heavy losses.

So, take care & have a wonderful holiday

Hi,

Yes, the statement was ambiguous.

I meant that those regular players had stopped frequenting the Casino after incurring heavy losses.

Seeing as how gambling is a personal choice by any who participate in it I see utterly no point for your comment wongchin.

Well, if one had heavy losses, presumably there isn't so much disposable income to dispose of any more. So I would expect that heavy losers would drop out of the game. What's your point, wongchinhong?
