High Tea ...

I've just been to the Novotel Vines in the Swan Valley for high tea.

A selection of cakes, sandwiches, warm scones... on 3 large trays

It was really nice .. very filling .. we couldn't eat it all ...

We kept filling up the tea pot. The staff were very obliging to all our requests.

Only downside, there is no children's price .. so we had to pay the adult rate for the child. But how do you work that out? If you give a child a couple of items, they'll want what mum and dad want .. so you can't win .. so it's a good idea not to take children, unless you are prepared to pay the adult price for them.

$35.... and it really did fill us up.

I even took a couple of cakes home with me ... no need for lunch beforehand, or dinner afterwards.

$35 is good.

I paid $55 at C but that included champagne.

I have been told the idea of no children's price is to discourage their attendance...Or at least ensure that those who do attend, are old enough to (know how to) behave appropriately.

$35 is a very good price.
