Flying from the UK to Perth

Hi there, my daughter is flying from Aberdeen - Heathrow - Heathrow - Singapore - Singapore - Perth with Quantas, does any1 know if she will be able to check in baggage at Aberdeen and get all her boarding passes at Aberdeen. Any tips would be most helpful. thanks

If you bought the ticket all in one go and are flying with partner airlines (e.g., BA to Heathrow, Qantas to Perth) then they should check them all the way through.

Short answer is Yes as per gk's response.

With the horrendous baggage delays/losses/re-routings at Heathrow, it would be a great idea if your daughter packs a change of underwear and perhaps a t-shirt or similar in her carry on baggage so that she has something to change into on her arrival in Perth even if her baggage arrives later :-)

Ensure she adheres to the carry on liquid requirements, too. Her ticket should have all the details.

Also warn her of our strict quarantine regulations - if she has food in her possession she MUST delare it when she gets to Perth.
