rainy days

moving to perth hopefully next year.after one of the most depressing so called summers,weather wise i can remember ,it has not stopped raining since summer began.do you get much in perth.rain i mean

Not enough by a long shot. The whole country is in drought. When it rains, it really rains - not drizzle like you guys get but real down pours. Wish it would (rain) - we are looking at a total garden sprinkler ban fpr this summer, something the authorities should have done years ago IMO. Some states have them already plus limits on length of showers, use of garden hoses, filling of swimming pools, washing of cars. Water is precious here and there is not enough of it.

You won't be depressed by the weather, except in summer when you watch everything go brown :-)
