Resorts?

When we have been to Australia previously we travelled the South Coast and have spent our last week at the Cairns Colonial Club Resort in Queensland. It is a nice place to relax at the end of your holiday as it has 3 swimming pools and 3 restaurants and is very cheap.

Can anyone tell me if there is anywhere similar in or near Perth?

I don't know what that resort is like, but I take it you're not looking for a hotel. Check out Burswood Hotel in case it is along the lines of what you're after. I can't think of anywhere else IN Perth. There are some towards the south west.

athena's right about Burswood.

another resort thats very nice although not as big as Burswood, is the Joondalup Resort. Located northern suburbs, about 30mins drive from the city, and 5 minute drive from the beach.

The Vines resort is OK if you like wine and golf. Observation City in Scarborough is a satisfactory hotel if you need the beach and coastal views.
