What tour opperator would be best to go with if you want a good look at the laneways?

Not interested in shopping! any suggestions appreciated..

Absolutely agree with PP - see if you can do it yourself and take your time. Melb is very easy to get around. p.s. pls note that some of the so - called 'free' tours are kinda not free as they "encourage a tip" after wards. Hope you have a great trip

Not to mention having to walk when everyone else does, photograph when everyone else is - etc etc. Do it all at your own pace with no one rushing you on.

I have Heard they are good! A bit pricy though... 95 dollars for a walking tour is a bit expensive I reckon.

Hi George, $95 for a walking tour is ridiculous! If you 're really wanting a tour, I have seen cheaper for around $40 .

It's not cheap, but it's a three hour tour and I got to see a side of Melbourne I've never seen before - and I live here. Also, the lady's ability to answer ANY question about Melbourne was impressive.

Yes, it's just over $30 per hour, but if your budget isn't really restricted, it's money well-spent.
