Great ocean road tour - One day or two days?

Will be traveling to Melbourne this Sep. Not driving, therefore will be visiting the GOR with a tour. Am wondering will it be too rush if we join a one day GOR tour?

One day is doable, in fact there are many tours which do just that. But it is a long day, early start, late finish, etc. Therefore your choice will depend on your stamina, what you can afford (2 days are more expensive than 1) and what time you have available.

If you just want to see the highlights of the GOR and take some photos, then a one day tour is sufficient.

The majority of the tour is done on the GOR, with the return journey being inland and after dark (Most people sleep most of the way).

If you want time to do some walking and more in depth exploration then the two day tour would suit you better.
