Working Weekend Accommodation

We are 5 individuals 2 women 3 men travelling from around Aust and NZ to Melbourne for a weekend of work. We are looking for short stay apartment with 3 bedroom and adjoining 2 bedroom with lots of space to work on our project.

Any suggestions very welcome. Would like to be close to CBD but not essential.

Thanks

Mantra on Russell definitely has a interconnecting room as I have stayed in it. The main room had a large kitchen, laundry, living and dining area and a separate double bedroom and bathroom.

Thru a small corridor to another door there was the second suite which had a double bed and bathroom and a mini kitchen - fridge, kettle, toaster.

I believe the sofa in the main suite may have been a sofabed but you could double check with Mantra. Otherwise you could arrange to also book a room on either side of the apartment suite.

some of the apartments in southbank would be ideal and not far to work to restaurants etc. I have stayed at Mantra on Russell and it is fine, why not look at Quest Royal Gardens which is just on the edge of the city (5 mins) walk to the edge of the CBD and also close to Lygon st and Fitzroy gardens as well.

Going by your specific criteria; you're wishing for a 3 bedroom (not three beds, three seperate bedrooms) interconnecting with a 2 bedroom (again not two beds, but two seperate bedrooms), plus living/working area - I don't think you'll find it, unless you book a themed suite and a connecting junior suite in a large property.

Aside from the suggestions above, I would consider suburban hotels who specialise in small corporate MICE business. They would probably be able to offer you a greatly reduced rate on five rooms, plus a heavily discounted, perhaps even comp boardroom for use. Although not centre CBD, I'd try somewhere like Urban St Kilda
