Is there perhaps a category for that region on the eatability website?

Hi, the mount Dandenong Hotel, which is an old style pub is good,

But I love sky high restaurant, they have open fires, glass windows with views of

All over Melbourne, and the food is lovely.

You can also go to sky high during the day, they do a nice Devonshire tea.

Also, miss marples in Olinda is a must for a good afternoon tea .

You can also look at The Cuckoo, which is a Buffett dinner, with entertainment,

Always a good night to be had at The cuckoo!

There's also Credo restaurant, and The Pig and whistle pub in Olinda which are good,

And if your in Belgrave there's numerous restaurants which are all good.

If there's any area inparticular that your visiting in The Dandenongs let me know and I'll give you some more ideas.

Helen.

Try Credo or Kelly's pub, but we keep going back to Pig & Whistle. Another favorite is Wild Oak which has fantastic food, a cooking school and theme nights like the jazz night once a month.

Hi,

In Olinda: Credo is not exactly quaint; it is quite modern. The lighting is subdued and the food quite good.

Kelly's Pub fits quaint and has open fire, but the last night we were there were a number of large groups, some children running about the tables so it was noisy. Pretty much bistro style food.

Wild Oak is very nice. It is a shame the Snooty Fox burned down last year, it would have fitted the bill nicely.

Ranges is a café by day but has open fires and is a restaurant at night and the food is pretty good. Bare boards and they sell a bit of gourmet foodstuffs as well.

The Cuckoo is a Bavarian Themed restaurant where the waitstaff dress in traditional costumes and there is Yodelling and piano accordions. I will leave it at that...

Cheers,

UF
