Best? You will struggle to find them. They are not common in Australia.

But I've seen churros at a stall at the far end of the Queen Vic Markets in Melbourne, not tried them though. We've had churros a few times at a branch of this place in Perth, not having anything to compare them to I can't say whether they're "best" but they're awfully good :-)

I'm not sure they are the best, but the van selling them outside the Queen Victoria markets is quite a Melbourne institution.

I could be mistake but I think there's a small outlet at Flinders St Station, as to whether its good, I'm not sure.

In Sydney, they have the San Churro cafes scattered around suburban malls and also at Darling Harbour.

"Best" is usually a synonym for "cheapest" on these forums. Where churros are concerned, that would have to be salient. Anyone got prices??

I've tried them twice, and has been hit and miss.

The first time they were crunchy and fluffy on the inside (I'm assuming that's how they're meant to be) but not enough chocolate dip. The second time, really soggy and still not enough chocolate dip.

I think it was like $4.50 for three sticks.

The San Churros franchise is everywhere and there are plenty of other Churros stalls in the train stations - I have noticed the actual names but there are two in Sthn Cross Stn.

They are "ok". I find the dough a bit stodgy.

Prefer them when in a restaurant and they have been freshly made to order.

The San Churros menu is here: sanchurro.com/menu-retail/category/1/churros

Sadly, no prices. :(
