Melbourne -- Attractions Open Dec. 31 and New Year's Day

We will be visiting Melbourne for the first time Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 and would like to know what tourist attractions will be open these days. We're a family of two adults, one twenty-something, and one teen. We'd particularly enjoy seeing some wildlife. Will the zoo or the Healesville (?) sanctuary be open these days? Anything else someone would advise for first time visitors? We also like theater and concerts (classical/Broadway). Thanks!

Some attractions are open all year round ony closing for Chrismas Day and Boxing Day.

Both Healesville and the zoo are open every day of the year including Christma Day and Boxing day. To find information on them both go to www.zoo.org.au

For information on theatre and concerts go to www.thatsmelbourne.com.au/info.cfm…

To buy tickets on lines to theatre and concerts you can do so through Tiketek at www.ticketek.com.au
