Weekend away ideas!

Hi Guys

We've just had an amazingly relaxing weekend away at Nagambie Lakes (the Jayco site there).

We're looking to get away again in the next few weeks - family with a 5 and a 3 year old, and grandparents. Somewhere like Nagambie would be great - but maybe a bit more life this time of year.

Do any of the caravan sites (fixed cabin type with three bedrooms) within a few hours drive of Melbs have any entertainment this time of year - maybe a bar within walking distance, nice restaurant - bit of music etc.?

Don't suppose it has to be a cabin - but somewhere we can go with the grandparents (who are visiting from the UK) and has something for the kids as well as adults!

Any ideas would be welcomed!

Thanks folks!!

How about Bright, not sure how busy they are this time of the year with the ski season coming on, but two great parks within an easy walk of the town centre, with plenty bars and restaurants.

We've stayed at the Riverside, we enjoyed it.

Echuca perhaps? There is a caravan park right in the centre of town by the river.

Albury - Lake Hume Tourist Park.

Cheers,
