Please help - 3.5 days in Hobart

Hi there~

I’m planning my trip to Sydney & Tasmania in February.

I will spend 3.5 days in Hobart & surroundings by self-driving, could anyone comment on the draft itinerary?

Day 1 (Thursday) – Arrive at 11 a.m. from Sydney by flight.

Lunch at Barilla Bay

Visit Sorell Fruit Farm after lunch

Hotel check in after Sorell Fruit Farm

Visit Mount Wellington in late afternoon

Day 2 (Friday)

Departs from Hotel to:-

1) Mt. Field National Park

2) Curringa Farm

3) Bonorong Wildlife Park

**I’ll arrive Curringa Farm in afternoon after visiting Mt. Field National Park, but probably they will have no afternoon tour. In that case, any other sheep farm suggestions nearby?

Day 3 (Saturday)

I’m thinking either to go Port Arthor or Huon Valley. Personally, I prefer Huon Valley, anyone can suggest some attractions on our way there?

Day 4 (Sunday)

Join local tour Bruny Island

Thanks in advance for all your valuable comments.

I'm not aware of any other farm-stay kinda places near Curringa.

On Day 3 (Saturday) you should start the day at Salamanca market. Whether you go to Port Arthur or the Huon Valley after that would be a matter of preference based on your interests.

I would also say that a Sat morning visit to Salamanca market is worth it. If you have time the Tahune airwalk is worth a visit in the lower Huon Valley.

I'm not sure if you are trying to squeeze quite a bit in on the Friday? Mt Field and Bonorong would probably fill in the day.

Check with the Sorell Fruit Farm for what will be growing when you are there- It can be feast or famine depending on the season. Another alternative would be to visit Richmond and have a wander around (lots to see, nice bakery, old jail is good and nice walks by the river)

Hope you have a fabulous trip!
