suggestions welcome on places of interest

Hello Fellow Travellers, I've booked accom at the following 3 nights Hobart, 2 nights Swansea, 3 nights Devonport, 1 night Bothwell. We have been to the west coast, upper north east so no suggestion asked for in those areas. Any suggestions on the other towns mentioned would be greatly appreciated, for got to mention we will be self drive.

Regards

Or of course you could go to the Styx Valley. I understand there was some "controversy" that they put the air walk where they did (Tahune). Some say Styx is way more impressive and would have been a better spot for it, but they wanted to log it, so put the airwalk in a less "valuable" area.

Another brilliant place to visit is Nature World on the coast road to Launceston - past Bichenou. Owned by a fellow english man who is absolutely passionate about the flora and funa of australia. Takes in injured wildlife and in most cases returns them to their natural habitat. Baby feeding time - we held baby joey and wombat - my daughter has now fallen in love with wombats. Also a baby Tasmanian Devil but not able to hold. Very friendly Kangaroos wandering around in the park - come right up to you to be fed. We saw two with baby joeys in their pouches. Koalas, wallabies, possums. Well worth a visit. The cable car ride over the gorge at Launceston was good - on the other side is a great swimming pool and grassed area for picnis. Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm is wonderful if you like raspberries - great reasturant/coffee shop and able to buy products.

Have a look at info on Narawntapu national park east of Devonport. If you're interested in wildlife watching, they have some incredible marsupial lawns within the park.
