1. Re: tasmania in january

We have been to Tassie many times, have spent 3wks there in January. Spent 7 days of this in Bicheno at Bicheno Holiday Village absolutely wonderful . Dont expect warm waters though. Max air temp was 27-28 but water was freezing, all the locals wore wetsuits and we soon found out why. It is not really the place for a beach holiday. But walking and general exploring fantastic. Must visit is Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park, do the walk to Wine Glass Bay. Also in the North Boat Harbour the water is the most beautiful colour I have ever seen in Australia. Stanley also wild and beautiful.

You can fly into Launceston visit the North area and make your way down East Coast stopping at Bicheno & Coles Bay, Swansea then head to Hobart to fly out from there.

Once you go to Tassie you will want to go back. AusLoz
