Wow Krista - you're really trying to cram a lot it but there are visitors here that try to see more in less time..... It really depends if you just want to see stuff or do you want to participate in unique Australian experiences?
OK - here's a suggestion - the places you have listed cover over 1/2 of Australia so you are going to spending a lot of time in airports to hit this many destinations in the time you have and I'd really suggest seeing your local travel agent as there are many well organised package deals that will cover a lot of what you want to do.
To organise yourself, my suggestion for an itinerary would maybe be:
Catch the overnight ferry or fly to Launceston (Tasmania) and hire a car or join a tour for a 3-4 (preferably 5-6) day trip either on the East or West Coast of Tasmania to Hobart. If you spend a few days more in Tassie there are heaps of opportunities to see wildlife and you really could skip KI.
Fly from Hobart to Alice Springs or Uluru for a 3-4 day trip as previously suggested in your posts in Red Centre forum. Again - there are heaps of wildlife opportunities in this region.
Fly from AS/Uluru direct to Cairns and stay there for the remainder of your holiday to really chill out and relax and from where you can do Daintree and Reef day trips that you can either pre-book before you go or just browse the options and take your pick when you get there. Cairns is SUPER well set up for daytrips and all of the accommodation places are happy to help you organise your time in the region. Also heaps of wildlife opportunities. You can fly home direct from Cairns. See www.sunloverholidays.com.au or queenslandholidays.com.au/destinations/tropi… for more detailed info.
You have to visit the Cradle Mountain National Park and the Cradle Mountain Tasmian Devils located at the park. They do Tasmanian Devil feedings and let you pet a baby devil!
As you are coming in april, keep an eye on schoolterm dates. Places can be booked solidly so make your reservations:
