FRINGE EVENTS, is camera's allowed

if people have been to any fringe events in the CBD already which locations allow you to bring your camera? or which places actually search your bags? or don't?, wot about the garden of unearthly delights? or croquet club? surely u can take camera if your not seeing any shows there? as im debating on weather to take my camera as people will have camera on their phones anyway.

Definitely no cameras during performances.

IME bags are not searched anywhere. And yes you can take photos but as Nuri says not inside performance venues.

You can take photos outside of shows, such as in The Garden of Unearthly Delights etc. but not in actual shows. In past years, there has always been a security guard checking handbags at the entrance to the garden. Not for cameras, but alpcohol, weapons etc.

Been there twice this week and had bag searched twice

They don't care about cameras though just alcohol

Cameras are fine but just not during some shows.
