Brisbane city to brisbane international airport

Hi.

My flight leaves brisbane at about 11:30 pm.

I was thinking of taking a taxi to the airport as there are 3 people. May I know how the traffic is to the airport from the city at around 7ish 8 pm? If the traffic is normal, what would the taxi fare be (ballpark figure)?

Thank you! :)

You would be looking at around $45 - $50...... for three people thats almost the same price as the train. Most nights it would be a fairly clear run, no guarantees of course.

I vote for a taxi too for the same reason. If you go with this, and assuming all three of you have bags, order a maxi taxi or similar.

Is the fare for maxi taxi the same as a normal taxi?

Anyway, thank you both for replying :)

If you pre-book a maxi, I think it's a $11 surcharge on top of the metered fare.

Are you departing from a hotel? If so, you could just request them to book a wagon, which will incur no surcharge.
