Transfertime International to domestic

we are a family with 3 small children. We will arrive at Sydney from Singapore with Singapore Airline on Monday 05:55am. We have a connecting flight with Virgin Australia to Cairns at 08:55am. It is on the same ticket.

Now I am a little bit concerned if the time would be enough, especially with the 3 kids. But it is already booked.

Can you please help me with some information about the transfer. How can we go to the domestic terminal? What is about the luggage?

Another question: I have some medicines for the children with me (nothing special). Do I have to declare them?

You will need to go through customs and immigration when you arrive. Virgin have a seamless transfer (check their website for instructions) they will check your luggage once you have come through customs and take you to T2 for the domestic flight.

Three hours should be plenty of time.

You will be given an incoming passenger card that ask about food etc. Answer it honestly and completely.

You don't have to declare standard non prescription meds like Paracetamol or aspirin.
