The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room

Am interested if anyone has been here? & what their thoughts are?

It's where the Brooklyn Hotel used to be.

I had lunch there last week. It was very crowded with mostly office lunch workers enjoying themselves. I went with four ladies & we all had steaks which we thought to be very average & we did actually say before we paid.

My friends had the MY DIANE Steak which they were disappointed with whilst I had a very ordinary GRAIN FED SIRLOIN. However; the BURRATA & BEET SALAD was delicious.

Maybe the Oyster menu is better than the Restaurant Menu. The Restaurant is very noisy & lively. At times it was difficult to hear eachother as the tables are very close to eachother.

Would I go again - probably not... but its trendy & lively if that's what your looking for.

I find the staff great & having only had drinks and oysters I was really impressed. We had a large group and they moved everything around to try & fit us in comfortably. Nice atmosphere too IMO
