5 days in Sydney (mid-February)

I will be traveling with my boys (7&9) want to do a sydney harbour boat tour, walk bridge, snorkel, botanical garden, aquarium, Tarongo Zoo, Powerhouse museum....we'll have 4 days in Brisbane & 4 days in Melbourne ahead of us. Any suggestions will be much appreciated:)

Is it worth going on a day trip to Blue Mountain?

What is the best beach to snorkel, Manly or Clovelly beach?

Many Thanks!

i think the boys would enjoy the BM's esp scenic world.

it has a few good 'rides'.

the rest would depend how they like nature and walking.

as far as snorkeling is concerned it depends on their ability.

imo clovelly is 'easier' than manly if by the latter u mean the area around shelly beach.

have you seen this link where you can buy discounted combo tickets? Although I haven't been to it, I think Wildlife Sydney has breakfast with the Koalas - http://www.wildlifesydney.com.au/

And discounted tix to Taronga are available too - http://taronga.org.au/kidsactivities

If you'e staying in the CBD your ferry trip to Taronga Zoo could be your Harbour boat cruise or if you want something a little different try http://www.sydneytallships.com.au/index.html they have a family day cruise.

The Blue Mountains are beautiful, but it will be a long day out for the boys, take plenty of snacks.
