Webjet should be called Webeject

Total rip off thats what they are. Went to make a simple booking and notice, Oh can use the FLY BUY points too, so used that option. Were told the payment was declined, thought better try again maybe put the card details in wrong, but got the same message. Rang the bank to be told that 2 payments have being taken out by Webjet. Contacted Webjet via chat only to be told that there was a problem with the Fly Buy information entered so the flights were cancelled and the card will be refunded...BUT WAIT... this will take 5-7 days to go back on card. So cannot book a flight until get that money back and by then those flights will no longer be available at that price. BY RIGHTS the money should not have being taken out of the credit card, their system upon seeing that Fly Buys has being declined should not have activated the credit card only to auto refund and the customer being left out of pocket for up to 7 days... think this is illegal practice and something they should seriously consider fixing. But that said I WILL NEVER use Webjet again...

Give third-party booking websites a miss. Book direct with the airline next time.

Hi Audrey,

Can you please email webjetassist@webjet.com.au with your preferred phone number, booking reference number (if you have one) and an outline of the issue so we can look into this for you?

Regards Webjet.
