South West of Western Australia in Spring

We are looking at spending 3 week in South Western Australia in a campervan. Coming from Queensland our experience is staying in caravan park, national parks. On occassions when travelling a long distance in a short time period we have made use of free overnight roadside stops . Could you please advise whether all these options are available? Also are there any you would particularly recommend.

We will be spending some time in the Margaret River Region, so we would appreciate places to go and things to see.

There aren't many free camping spots around the margaret river area which is a bummer. We drove across OZ making great use of the free sites. There are some caravan parks in there area though. One out in Prevely and another down in augusta. If you have a bit of time there are some free camping spots along the coast road from esperance to Albany that are beautiful. While in Margs there are soo many wineries, so if you enjoy wine go for a taste. There is also the cape to cape trail? You don't have to do the whole thing, just pick a small section if you like. Hit the beach or go fishing or go for a surf? There's lots to do around the area.

Hope that helped a bit,

Safe travels
