We called and reserved for 3 families at La Griotte. No problem but we shouldbe there by 7pm. We had to collect the children from school and then drive to the site and ended up arriving at 7:05. The barrier at the entrance was closed and when we called the number provided we were told that we absolutely could not come in as we were late. We stated that we had a 3 month old baby with us and 5 other children only to be told
"if you have a baby then you should make better plans."
Smart phones saved the day and we managed to find LA CHEVRERIE just down the road. The lady running it was very friendly and the site was much more attractive and no where near the main road unlike la Griotte. Abloutions were good and prices cheap. Spent two nights camped amongst the cork trees. Very pleasant after a very rude and aggressive start to our visit.
