Maybe some special bus transportation is organised from Cadiz to the track. I think it is best to find out nearer the date or as soon as you get to Cadiz. These things are not usually advertised widely beforehand.

The normal transport between Cadiz and Jerez city is by local Commuter train called CERCANIAS and times can be found here :

renfe.com/EN/…index.html

or by the longer distance trains leaving Cadiz and stopping at Jerez. These times can be found on :

www.renfe.com

OR by regular buses. The railway station in Cadiz is near the port and buses leave from this location also. The largest bus operator out of Cadiz is TG COMES and they have routes shown here:

http://www.tgcomes.es/rutas_todas.htm

Note that they have special bus transport advertised on this page for this weekends Carnaval.

From Jerez you have a bus station next to the railway station and am sure that transportation is organised to shuttle to the track.

Also you should note that El Puerto de Santa Maria is across the Bay from Cadiz and is always a very busy town during this meeting with many enthusiasts staying here. Apart from the train/bus connection to El Puerto you can also take a Catamaran over the Bay. from the Port ferry station which is close to the main train station at Cadiz.

Patabu - From Jerez airport to Cadiz. There are some buses that run to Jerez and some of these continue to Cadiz.

http://www.cmtbc.es/

is the transport web for Bay of Cadiz.

this shows the different routes currently :

http://www.cmtbc.es/sistema.php?op=2

for example at top of list under Barco (ferries that run across the Bay) you can see railway timetable. Only a few trains stop at the Airport platform.

C-1 Cádiz-Jerez de la Frontera / Aeropuerto de Jerez

and then you have buses. So maybe easier to look at :

aena-aeropuertos.es/csee/…Bus.html

Jerez airport to the train station by taxi must cost around €15 or so. Then you can take any of the trains that go to Cadiz like CERCANIAS (commuter train that shuttles between Cadiz and Jerez) or one of the others.

@Cadiz lover

thank you very much for your kind reply. Im hoping to fly into jerez and travel on to Cadiz for a week at the end of may and couldnt be bothered with renting a car as parking it in Cadiz could be a nightmare.
