Accommodation: Barcelona, Seville, Granada, Malaga, Madrid

Hi!

I'm overwhelmed by all the available accomodation on offer. I was hoping that you can help out by listing your favourite accomodation for some/all of the places that we're going to.

My husband and I would prefer good value places, but also happy to spend a bit more if extremely nice.

Many thanks -

Just check www.venere.com as what others may like, you may not!

'Good value' is relative.

This cheap hostal (not hostEl) in Granada is a measure of my idea of very good value and hostales and pensions are usually where I start - http://www.hostalrodri.com/ - see reviews on TA.

However, neither am I averse to staying in somewhere like the IBIS chain, for one or two nights. You know what you are getting and in the case of one of the two premises in Malaga is metres from the centre and cheaper than a great many others in the vicinity.

I mostly use this facility - http://www.hotelscombined.com/

In Malaga the Etap Hotel charges 39 a night for a double or single. This is a new hotel.
