Where to stay

My family is planning a trip to Malta in June. There are 12 of us so we are looking for someplace that will accommodate all of us. We would like something self-catering near Sliema or St. Julian. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For self-catering near Sliema or St Julians you will most probably go for flats/apartments. If you are looking for villas/farmhouses there are few in the area. Should you consider somewhere else, may you find these sites interesting:

We have been using the services offered by gozobreak for many years and we never had anything bad to say about them. I surely recommend them, and i will be there tomorrow. Will definately write from there as well and tell you how the weather will be!

basic 3* in Sliema try "115 The Strand". Quite close to Valletta in fact.

Hi Imsparks, I'm just back from Sliema and the hotel I used has some great self catering apartments. It's the hotel Bayview www.bayviewmalta.com and the apartments are side sea front facing. I booked through a link on tripadvisor and the rooms were spotless, staff friendly and it's handy for the buses to all parts of the island and also 2 stops from the harbour cruises.

If you do go there, try the Taj Mahal restaurant a few doors down and if you all like amazing fresh fish dishes, goto the Harbour Lights cafe on the sea front in Marasaloxx.

Have a great time!
