Shannon to Dingle

Hello,

I'm flying into Shannon for 3 nights in late October. My son and I would like to see the Dingle peninsula. Unfortunately, we arrive on Ryan Air at 1630. I'm not too keen on driving in the dark. Is there a route anyone could recommend with a night at Heaton's in Dingle? Or do you think we could drive the 3 hours with some of it in the dark and get to Dingle on Thursday?

Thank you,

Kevin

It gets dark earlier in Ireland than here and the road to Dingle is narrow. I would try staying somewhere past Limerick, maybe Tralee on the main road and not too far from Dingle in the AM.
