Oh my that is a shame. I was planning on taking my cousins to visit there in June. One of my more enduring memories of that part of Ireland.

Havent been down there today, but last night and this morning the gales were worse than ever, wouldnt be surprised if more has gone now, it is sad, but sometimes ,as in Skara Brae, the storms uncover treasures, sometimes they take them away again.

I wasn't at Dunbeg today, but the sea at Clothair was wilder and more violent than I have ever seen. It's still blowing a gale back west tonight

Oh, how sad--we loved that spot when we visited Ireland in August. Selfishly, I'm glad we got to see it.
