We are staying in Dunquin at the end of the month. Can anyone recommend a really good pub nearby(not just those in Dingle town!) and anywhere great to eat?
There is one pub in Dunquin, Krugers, but personally I don't think it great. There are three good pubs in Ballyferriter, Sayers, Keanes and Murphy's and the bar in the Ceann Sibeal Hotel is nice. Bric's pub outside Bsllyferriter is nice
You can get reasonable food at Tigh Aine

Not a fan of Krugers either. Paidi Se's pub can be accessed over the road known as the Clasach, but again, not a fan. Tigh Keane or Brics for me. Where are you staying?
In holiday let in village- thanks for advice both of you by the way- from looks of it Krugers is nearest pub
Krugers is a 'famous' pub but I would prefer the actual pubs in the village - they also have great music sessions
If you are near Krugers you are close to the foot of the Clasach, a short cut over the hill, comes out at Paidi Se's pub, handy if you are coming say from Dingle and want to avoid the buses on the Slea Head road, plus there are spectacular views one side over the Blaskets and back across Ventry harbour right over to Iverage.
