Fb or all inclusive

Hi All, we're thinking of going to Vila in July and we normally always go for AI but I'm wondering if it's worth it. I would be interested to know if other people have just gone with FB and how it compared? We are a family of 2 children (under 18s) and 2 adults who don't really drink so was thinking it might be cheaper to got for FB as the diff between FB and AI is £440 per person for 2 weeks.

Does anyone have a drinks price list as not found one online? Other than drinks are there any other differences between FB and AI?

Think I read somewhere that you can have drinks with breakfast can anyone confirm?

Thanks in advance.

We decided to go for AI because we will take daily drinks that cost more than 40 usd per day pp which was the difference between FB and AI and we will have a free sunset cruise, 15 mins massage, minibar included (of course not everything from the minibar), a small bottle of champagne and also free one hour kayak per day. For us it is better than FB...

The garden rooms are in the area of the reception/family bar/family restaurant. They are set at a right angle to the beach/sea so do not look out directly to the beach, but are not far from it.

There are numerous sun loungers dotted around the island for your use just look for the ones with no villa numbers stencilled on them.

Regarding sun loungers if you do not find them near the garden villa you can ask reception to deliver them to you after you find the best spot on the beach for sunbathing. If they are around the garden villa you can also ask the room boy or reception to move them for you on the beach.

If your in a garden room , make sure you take plenty bugs sprays and lotions. Antihistamine cream etc. We stayed in a JWV. Didn't get bothered with ants or any other creepy crawlies. But on our regular after meal walk around the island we were bitten around the ankles when inland on the island. Especially in the garden room area. You can't see the sea. But you can put your sunbeds on the beach. The garden rooms are a lot cheaper, to book , and a lot smaller and basic, they are like terraced dwellings. Saying that we found them a lot better than any other apartment we'd stayed in such as Greece or Spain. You still got to eat the same lovely food though in the family restaurant. You were still on the same beach etc We weren't taking our kids and wanted a quieter experience, so went for the adult only section of the island.

I'd go AI the drinks , even coke and water would soon bump up your bill , plus any other snacks. You'll have a great time. We've been back a month, it seems like a life time ago.
