Grocery planning

Provided we are not idiots and pack out what we bring, are there restrictions on glass containers at the beaches? Just can't recall....

Yes, no glass. We've seen park rangers give out tickets for people with glass bottles on the beach.

Beach beers (cans) are always good. Haven't seen too many rangers out past Cinnamon. So risk is probably low at most locations that aren't named cinnamon or trunk and your not acting like an idiot. But other benefit of cans is they will be lighter both arriving and leaving the beach.

A year ago the rangers were giving tickets out on Maho. They had been at the overlook with binoculars and spied the offenders. Then came down and got them out of the water for the ticket writing! We tried to warn the group ahead of time but they just blew us off. We even offered to give them some of our red solo cups. Guess they had to learn the hard way!
