DB timetable

reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query2.exe/en

Start: Langenargen

Destination: Zuerich Airport

Basically you can travel across Lake Constance or around it (such a wisdom). DB timetable will show prices for most connections.

The connections including the catamaran ferry (product KAT) from Friedrichshafen to Konstanz do however not include the fare for the catamaran. EUR 9,50 one way.

Your option is from Friedrichafen, but we need quickest way from Langenargen. Is it train direct to Zurich airport (withour ferry)or ferry from Langenargen? I have checked that is the ferry from Friedrichafen Hafen to Romanstorn, but from Langenargen?

And what is your suggestion how is better to fly to Munich airport and than go to Langenargen or from Zurich airport?

The DB timetable will show connections from Langenargen, some of those include the ferry from Friedrichshafen. There are no direct connections form Langenargen to Zürich airport. Clicking on the arrows in front of your possible connections on the DB website will show you the places where you will need to stop. They are also shown later in the booking process.

There is one connection with only one transfer. That is going by train to Lindau and taking another train from there.

I think you have overlooked this

Start: Langenargen

DB timetable gives you buy default the quickest connections. The catamaran serves actually Friedrichshafen Hafen to Konstanz. Friedrichshafen Hafen to Romanshorn is a normal ferry and covered with the right train ticket. This was once even a real train ferry. While the trains don't go on board anymore it's still a rail station to rail station ferry.

Closest airport by far is Friedrichshafen Airport (FDH). Zürich Airport (ZRH) is closer than Munich Airport (MUC). Stuttgart Airport (STR) is also closer than Munich Airport.

All these airports have their own train stations and you can check connections with the DB timetable. With the exception of the one in Stuttgart you can just use the IATA-Code (e.g. FDH) as destination.
